After ordering Solid Edge (node locked), clients will be supplied with a temporary license. This license can be used to activate the software while they wait on the permanent license.

Clients using node locked licensing can download their permanent license from Siemens.

How to Download a Permanent License

STEP 1: Get the relevant information

Before accessing the licensing website you will need:

• Your Siemens customer ID (Sold-to-ID). Open your temporary license to obtain this information.
• Your web acess code. This is also stated in your temporary license.
• The disk serial numbers of the computers on which you want to activate the software. (For more info click here).

STEP 2: Create a Webkey Account if you do not have one

• Click on this link to create a Webkey / Web Access acount
• You will need a valid email address, your company contact information, sold-to-id and web access code.

STEP 3: Create a new license using your web key account

• After creating the web key account, you can log on to to the Siemens support site to create new entries on the license file and then download it.
